Alejandro obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech and subsequently a Master’s Degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics and a PhD in Space Systems from the Engineering Systems Lab (ESL) at MIT, working with Prof. Oli de Weck. His PhD research focused on the implications of the emerging paradigm of Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) on the reuse of proven, legacy design solutions. During my years in school, he cultivated my deep passion for space exploration with internships at NASA, SpaceX, Draper, and Aerospace. His guiding vision is to apply this breadth of experience to the support the next generation of space missions, particularly human exploration of our Solar System and beyond.
