Fadwa Alaskar

With a Master’s in Computational Science and Engineering from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering from King Saud University, I am a dedicated researcher and software engineer. Currently, I am advancing AI research at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). My expertise spans scientific programming, data science, deep learning, and technical strategic planning, and I am passionate about applying AI to real-world contexts.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to drive significant advancements in machine learning, applied mathematics, and data science. At KACST, I focus on developing and optimizing algorithms and models, utilizing deep learning and data processing technologies and frameworks across various fields, including autonomous vehicles, smart systems, and computer vision. My work in improving the performance, perception, and control of autonomous systems has been particularly rewarding.
In addition, I design, develop, and analyze software applications for diverse fields, ensuring robust and innovative solutions.

I am eager to bring a diverse perspective and unit a strong educational foundation to my team with practical experience in AI and Data Science to drive forward research that has tangible, real-world applications.
