Haifa Alabduljabbar is a researcher at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). She holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from King Saud University.
Haifa specializes in the practical application of artificial intelligence and machine learning, with experience spanning multiple domains, including traffic accidents, animal genetics, and CO₂ emissions modeling. Her work integrates data mining, analytics, and visualization to support research and build interactive, insight-driven dashboards. With a strong background in software development, Haifa designs and develops robust, scalable applications that meet the needs of complex systems.
Beyond her technical contributions, she played a leadership role in managing BADIR Technology Incubators and Accelerators Program, empowering tech startups across the Kingdom. She contributed to the development of strategic initiatives, including the strategy for the Innovation and Commercialization program and KACST Venture Builder, aimed at fostering and scaling tech-driven startups.
Her research interests focus on multimodal AI, machine learning, data analytics, and software engineering, all with a goal of developing impactful solutions for real-world challenges.
