Lama holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University in the City of New York and a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from King Saud University. She is a research associate and assistant co-director at the Center of Excellence for Earth and Space Science at KACST and Caltech. Her research at the center focuses on remote sensing data analysis and AI applications. She is also collaborating with the Center for Complex Engineering Systems at KACST and MIT on a data-driven sports research project that analyzes health and urban interventions using machine learning and data analytics techniques. Her research interests include machine learning, data analytics, and software engineering.
