Mohannad Alkhraijah is a Research Specialist at the Centre for Complex Engineering Systems at KACST and MIT. He received his bachelor degree in electrical engineering from King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) specialized in power systems. Prior to joining KACST, Mohannad worked at Saudi Aramco from 2013 to 2017 in different fields including reliability and operation engineer, facility management, project management and safety coordinator. He served as a supervisor of emergency operation unit in major facilities at Saudi Aramco. He published and participated in several conferences and won best paper award at Saudi Arabia Smart Grid Conference 2015 for his research in renewable energy integration. His research interest includes power system planning, reliability assessment and application of artificial intelligence in power systems.
