Motasem Alsawadi

Dr. Alsawadi is passionate about entrepreneurship and has extensive experience across management disciplines and strategic planning, with technical knowledge to bring effective and innovative products to reality. He has published research enabling the use of artificial intelligence in computer vision and action recognition technologies. He has been participating in King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology in nationwide projects that localize strategic and emerging technologies.

He is also passionate about transferring technology with a social impact to the market by building a bridge between the laboratory and societal needs. He is dedicated to significantly impacting the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Dr Alsawadi received his Ph.D. in AI and Computer Vision from University College London (UCL) in 2024, and his Executive master’s in Social Business and Entrepreneurship (EMSBE) from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2023.
