Saad M. Alqahtani
Saad Alqahtani has been the Expert Technician of the Digital Health Institute at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) since 2007. He holds MSc degree in computer science (2014) from the University of King Saud in the KSA. Saad is interested in a set of topics in the field of computer science including algorithms, data structures, artificial Intelligence (AI), computer systems, databases, programming languages, web technologies, data science, data analysis, machine learning, sentiment analysis, natural language processing and bioinformatics. Saad has completed several projects in the past, such as the Expert System for Diagnosing Computer Failures for the College of Computer Science and Information at KSU, the Arabian Camel Genome System, Infectious Diseases for KACST, Smart Compress Innovation project, Emerald device Project, Managing Gestational Diabetes with a Digital Health Solution project, a modern semantic similarity method using multiple resources for enhancing influenza detection project, Smart vaccine assistant project, Generative AI-powered smartwatch project, and several research projects. Saad is a member of the judging panel in the NextEra accelerator at NTDP, which focuses on supporting tech companies in emerging and deep technologies. He also has experience in data analysis, holds a professional certification in this field, and is a member of the King Abdul-Aziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) for gifted students. Moreover, Saad has authored several publications that discuss his previous areas of interest. He has trained several students from Saudi colleges and also supervised a student from Ethraa program for gifted students.
