Dr. Sultan is the General Manager of the Digital Health Institute and Co-Director of the Data Science Center at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. His role involves leading research and innovation in AI and machine learning applications for healthcare. With a background that spans over 18 years in technology encompassing academia and industry, he specializes in data science, AI/ML for healthcare, smart cities, NLP, research leadership and mentoring aspiring tech professionals. Dr. Sultan holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science along with a BS in Computer Science and Engineering. His contributions have led to patents, publications and accolades. He is deeply committed to leveraging AI and ML advancements for the betterment of society.
