Tristan Searight
Tristan studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was awarded a Perkins Eastman Design and Wellness Fellowship. Motivated by the impact of food on health, social connection and sustainability, he investigated the ways the built environment shapes food-related behaviors. These projects applied people-centered data collection and visualisation methods to inform design recommendations. They reflect Tristan’s broader fascination with the way ordinary features of urban environments influence everyday life—something he explores in photographic projects. Combining his architectural and research experience, Tristan is dedicated to elevating the importance of people’s quality of life during project decision-making and design outcomes.
